Day 61 - Wow! What a change!

OK, so we've slacked a bit on pictures... but there's a reason why!

It RAINED IN OUR HOUSE last Sunday!!!

Look at all the buckets:




Yuck! The 'chance of sprinkles' turned into 0.25" of rain, and we had some serious leak action going on. Our wonderful contractors, though, rapidly arrived and saved the day... there were four of them hammering away on Sunday morning, putting up a monster tarp and stopping the leaks.

On the good side of the news, our trusses came last Friday - watch them get installed!



And finally, here are today's latest pictures. We've come a LOOOONG way but have plenty to go!

Moving right along. 39 days left!

Framing is just about done upstairs!!! Check out the view from our bedroom window in these pictures.

Next up -- roof trusses, home wrap, plywood, and a roof!!

Day 43 - over halfway done!!

So we're moving right along...

The roof is completely off, the floor joists are all installed, and they're just about done putting on the subfloor.
The 2 small bedrooms and master closet are completely framed in, and now they're framing the walls for the bedroom and master bathroom.

Once all this framing is done, then it's time for trusses, a roof, and drywall!

Day 40 - Framing!

Been a busy week - we were in Austin to watch the Bruins trounce the Texas Longhorns (Go Bruins!!) then I was in Vegas for ACEP. Fun times.

While I was gone, the guys were busy doing lots and lots of framing on the second story - check it out!!!
