First of all, we had a Super Bowl party on February 1 - lots of fun! But before that, we decided that we wanted to create a brick patio for our grill. Well, Kristin and I dug out tons of dirt and mud, shoveled in sand, and laid down our own brick grill pad. It was a lot of work, but it looks great! Take a look:
This is the pathway behind the house where the gas line trench was - dug up, put back together, and we buried stepping-stones along the way. Now we need to plant some more grass...
After the Super Bowl, we took a trip to Colorado to go skiing (yay!). Kristin took private lessons and now can ski a Black Diamond or two (yay!). And then I went and broke my leg!!! (boo!)

You can't see the break too well (heck, two radiologists and two ER docs missed it -- including Drs. Bakhda Sr. and Jr.), but it's there. Mid-shaft broken tibia. Ouch. So I'm in a boot for 10-14 weeks! Blecch!!!
Oh well. Other than that, we are getting ready for our cruise with Dale and Kathy (Kristin's parents) to celebrate their anniversary next month!! Caribbean here we come!
Hope all is well with you.
And one last thing: I found this awesome video online. If you're confused about the economy, and just HOW things got so bad, check this out - it'll explain everything!
