Day 73 - November 3

Work continues on as we get into the homestretch.


Roof shingles arrived...


... got loaded onto the conveyor...


... up, up, up...


... and onto the roof!


Internal work proceeds on the fireplace...


and electrical and plumbing work goes on.

The siding arrived today, so next up is painting the siding, home wrap, shingles, and then finishing the inside.

Day 61 - Wow! What a change!

OK, so we've slacked a bit on pictures... but there's a reason why!

It RAINED IN OUR HOUSE last Sunday!!!

Look at all the buckets:




Yuck! The 'chance of sprinkles' turned into 0.25" of rain, and we had some serious leak action going on. Our wonderful contractors, though, rapidly arrived and saved the day... there were four of them hammering away on Sunday morning, putting up a monster tarp and stopping the leaks.

On the good side of the news, our trusses came last Friday - watch them get installed!



And finally, here are today's latest pictures. We've come a LOOOONG way but have plenty to go!
